We all know that Disney is soon launching the sequel of the movie ‘Pirates of the Caribbean’. With the new movie, ‘Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man’s Chest’, the Volvo Car Corporation would be supporting Disney on this endeavor. Volvo would be having a global and multi-media treasure hunt for a new Volvo XC90 V8. You see, somewhere in the world, this cool vehicle has been buried. And it is up to you to find where it is located to own it yourself.

So how do you take part of this modern buried treasure hunt? You can start by visiting your local Volvo retailer. It does not matter where you live in the US. From your Volvo retailer, you can get a free treasure map. You can start asking for such a map starting on the 12th day of June this year. The whole search sends on the 11th of July.

Now, once you have the map, you can go online and visit www.volvocars.us/thehunt. You would be asked to register for the whole competition. Indeed, this is the world’s first hunt for a buried vehicle. To find the vehicle, you would have to go through challenges. There would also be engaging and fun-filled adventures which you would be doing over the internet. There would also be a series of online clues and puzzles that you would have to use your brains to solve. And in the end, maybe win the prize for yourself.

The Volvo XC90 that has been buried is one of a kind. You see, it is pirate-theme. So it really is something to look forward to. There is a wide variety of Pirate of the Caribbean: Dead Man’s Chest elements in it. The list even includes menacing graphics straight right out of the film. The seats are given black leather material. And even the wheels which measures 20 inches have been custom painted. These are just a few of what the Volvo XC90 has in store for the lucky winner.
