Soon the newest Shelby Mustang will be released, the GT500. Following in the footsteps of the GT350 and old GT500 it will, without doubt, become just as sought after and as much of a classic as its predecessors.
However, there is something different with this Shelby...
Yes it will destroy the stock V8 GT Mustang in terms of top speed and acceleration, but not in engine size - it only has a V6 under the bonnet.
The body work was all designed by Shelby but the performance enhancements came from companies such as Paxton Superchargers, American Racing Wheels, Baer Brakes and Borla Exhaust.
Being UK importers of American vehicles we have developed quite an interest in this new offering from Shelby as we feel the V6 may be more of an interest to car buyers in the UK.
