There are different types of motorcycle alarms used in cruiser and custom bikes. A security system with an advanced paging surveillance system is the one that is equipped with an OEM style connector that plugs in the original factory alarm and operates with the existing remote key fob. The moment there is a theft attempt the beeper utilizes the digital RF technology and displays how the motorcycle is being disturbed. The high output four watt transmitter is capable of penetrating buildings and parking areas. Only three wires are required to connect to the motorcycle wiring -- one wire to battery ground, one to battery positive and the last to the tail light wire.

Always look for a universal plug-in collector kit with a 12-volt electrical system that fits in any of motorcycle. To avoid destruction in installation like cutting the factory wiring, the unique plug in tap connectors are useful allowing the system to be integrated into the motorcycle.
